Why was she snubbed though? like by BOTH Emmys and GGs
ugh
The network it was on, as well as the fact it was considered a teen show. Also it was a genre show, which traditionally don't get recognised by the Emmy's (I've seen a lot of stuff about how them snubbing Buffy and getting **** for it led to them eventually recognising genre shows like Lost)

The first seasons of Buffy is the only one that can be considered as a just another teen show. Already in the 2nd season we have deep psychological issues like the one she developed after being killed.

Omg yes, after she
killed the master those episodes made me realize how much of a great actress she is

It's too bad. Thankfully Buffy went on to be an iconic staple of the 90s, with it influencing many supernatural genre shows to come.
I just finished the finale of Season 3 today I slowed down a lot in the past few weeks but now I'm watching more episodes
She's literally one of the few actresses who can make me cry or tear up with her I'm so amazed
You should watch her in IKWYDLS. I know it's a horror and they're not traditionally known for their great acting, but she has a really good chase scene and she genuinely seems terrified in it
