It's your choice, no one else's. I'm still on a spiritual journey of sorts. Sometimes I believe there's a God but no afterlife (inc. heaven and hell), and sometimes I think that's there's a God and I'm going to hell when I die. sometimes I think that all religion is man-made and can't comprehend how anyone can think a God who created us, would do so, in order to send us to hell for our wrongdoings - what is the actual point in that? Particularly when this God is thought of as an omnipotent and omnipresent presence, meaning he knows what I will do before I even do it. Isn't that evil? I don't want any part of that. How can I be expected to embrace a religion that proclaims everything I am as person in terms of my sexuality is wrong and sinful? I am told that I'm going to burn in hellfire for eternity for being myself. Thanks, but no thanks.
I also think that if you really think about it, there must be a creator of sorts. Go back to the Big Bang, where did all the materials for such an explosion come from? Where did the space with which to the explosion take place come from? Go back to the beginning of time, where did anything come from? It can't have just literally came from nowhere. I'm pretty sure there's a creator. I'm not sure he places too much importance on Earth and the evolution of its many species though, who knows?
No it makes you a critical thinker (I don't mean this in a derogatory way believe what you wanna believe), but always remember not to let moral judgments from people WHO POST ON A FORUM make you feel bad about yourself or insecure.
