I learned it because of my mom translating every single line that was said in Pokémon Ruby for me

It pissed her off because I kept asking her 24/7 but in the end it helped

I grew up speaking Spanish and then learned English before going to school. This is how me and my 3 other siblings were raised

Learning English was much easier than learning Arabic and I kind of grew up speaking both languages.

Arabic/English with the fam and English with the maids/nannies

English is one of the main subjects taught from the early stages of schooling in the Philippines so I didn't think it was hard learning it at all.

edit: Actually nevermind, learning what pronouns, nouns, adverbs, verbs, prepositions, correct use of has/have, etc.. and all the different technicalities of the language was a mess. I remember now. Learning to speak a new language that way is so tedious.

It was my best subject in school. I earned a 9/10 average on my finals, tho I do still make mistakes

Well, I learned it by myself. Yeah, I took classes in High School but I already knew what they were teaching me.

I learned thanks to tv shows, movies and music, but I was shy and stuff, I wouldn't write it 'because I was afraid of making a mistake, but ATRL helped me A LOT. I still have little mistakes, though.

So it was easy for me.
