If this doesn't really start to take off in a few weeks I hope they just release the second single late January/early February with a March release date for the album.

The negative update is very healthy because radio stations are playing now the biggest songs of the year and holiday songs! Let's hope it will survive after the year end.

That's highly likely and March would be the best month for the album release imo, or late February.

I know she has to do The Voice, but this really would have benefitted with some international promo.
