What are her "failures" exactly? If we're speaking music-wise, the only misteps WERE label caused.
Timing. Lack of funding. Lack of trust in her material. Lack of an understanding of her genre.
She has never failed when it comes to her "sound". Yes, many artist kill to be signed to major record labels - then hate themselves for signing the contract shortly after. We've seen the story a million times. AB is just wise enough now to know when to get out.
Most of her music & videos were self funded & she's invested the money she earned from touring back into her career. Her situation isn't just "chance". It's hard work & hustle.
