Many people, including people in the US do not have proper sex education. You can't just call people dumb when they do not have the sufficient resources like contraceptives and education, especially the poor. Maybe if we had more of that, there would be less abortions to begin with. But of course, the people in power want to take down planned parenthood and only teach abstinence in school
