Welcome to my best of 2015. This year was a year of ups and downs so I decided I wanted to make a best of to commemorate it and to have it end on a high note. My best of will consist of two countdowns: Favorite Songs Of 2015 and Favorite Albums of 2015.
Here is my rough schedule of events:

Well there is something I should explain about the Favorite Song list. It's not a "true" unbiased favorite list. If it was I'd say about 40% of the list would be made up of the same artists and the same albums, so in order to avoid that kind of redundancy and stagnation, I limited myself to only picking one song per album for any artist. (With one kind of sort of exception where an artist was featured as a lead on one song and then was just a featured act on another.) Now this doesn't mean artists can't have multiple appearances via features and duets, but from their own albums only one song can make it from them. (Which is also kind of why I only got to 90 instead of a full 100 because I have not listened to 100 albums just from 2015 and I didn't want the bottom of the list to be filled too much with radio fodder so 90 just happened to be the best stopping point.)
