From her words, it was exactly the opposite. He didn't like her ideas, and the collab fell apart. He disliked a lot about Madonna, but I agree that
hate is far too strong.

To be honest the biggest change between 1987 and 1992 for Michael's face was the remaining pigmentation loss. He had very few nose and face operations in that time, other than to follow up major ones he had in 1985 and 1986. He still had some color in his face in 1991, but two years later it was near-porcelain white. This was when he had to have color tattooed into his lips, and possibly his eyebrows, though.
