Yeah, I go to straight clubs all the time. And it's isn't that hard to get with other gay guys when you are there if you want to.

I hate going to straight clubs, tbh. I never feel welcome there.

But, it is pretty fun, only if you are surrounded with the right people and isn't looking for anyone to hit on you.

how weird and uncomfortable

It's extremely segregated in the US I've been to straight clubs with guys before and it was just eyes burning on you if you even dared touch let alone a kiss on the cheek for a second It was so unfun and uncomfortable. The straight bars in my town are essentially really aggressive straight male/sports bars too. And the clubs are all really swanky but I've heard some of them literally have blocked gay couples from entering at the door

I've only been to a gay bar once and I didn't like it. So I guess I only go to "straight" bars and clubs.

Well I live in a small city which literally only has two gay bars. One of them can be fun but shuts early and can often be pretty quiet. The other one is really dated/dirty and full of seedy people so I never go there. The majority of my friends are straight so we go to straight bars, I never really think about it like that though. As long as I'm with good company, I don't need to be around other gay people to have a good time. What difference does it make? Unless you're wanting to hook-up but that's not my scene.

I go only to straight bars/clubs because the gay ones here are super dirty and shady and full of desperate, bad looking guys. I've been to a gay club in Prague twice though and it was super fun
