It's fair to say they are living the good life. If you're busy fighting over pop stars 24/7 you actually have working internet connection so you're better off than a vast majority of the world
Well considering most members are aged 15-20 and studying, i expect most of us to still be living at home... how exactly can we be wealthy when majority of us have barely started our careers?

This. "Well off" is relative, but if you have the resources and free time to spend inordinate amounts of time bs'ing around online, you're likely working/middle class (or the dependent of a family that are) at very least.
