Firefly and ANGEL are great though? Buffy Season 6 is better than anything Ryan Murphy has ever written

I found Firefly to be decent at best, but hugely overrated by its devoted stans. You'd think it was Star Trek/Star Wars with the way people went on about that show. I feel it really only gets the level of love it does because it was cancelled after season 1.

Buffy post season 5 had some good episodes, but for the most part is just joylessly bad. I feel like they took these characters to their limits and things just started to unravel, characters acted against type, and the show began to feel stale.

Connor's existence alone ruined Angel. That whole storyline with Connor/ Cordelia/Jasmine was messy garbage.

A more entertaining thread, yes, but yikes if I have to actually answer the question.

OT: Joss Whedon obviously. I'm still salty about Firefly being cancelled.

I love AHS but obviously Whedon.

You can't beat Buffy, Firefly, Dollhouse..

I hope you are playing devil's advocate because even with Joss' faults you mentioned (which I don't agree with 100%) his body of work is still better than Ryan's almost objectively so.

To be honest I've never seen one of those Whedon shows but I don't even deny how far up Ryan Murphy's ass I am

Joss by far. Buffy alone has had more impact and acclaim then Ryan's filmography. Ryan's shows seem to go down hill after the first few seasons (basing this on Glee and AHS)

Not really. Joss' shows are only cheesy when they're supposed to be like in comedy scenes.

I think Angel is a better show overall, especially in the first 3 seasons.
