yeah i think she is this era, i feel like (i hope) with the reception BJ/PG got that they know they can't mess about with this album and that it needs to be amazing.

the fewer the producers the better imo so it keeps the album cohesive.. as long as they aren't just accepting basic filler the producer couldn't sell to other popstars.

To me, people (the GP) embrace her when she has hit. There's been enough to tarnish her legacy and while many in the GP respect that she got her life back on track they also want to justify openly stanning for her with a current hit.

They then can talk about her legacy and how she was able to keep her career going and still serve hits.

If Britney doesn't deliver hits then at best they have past hits to gush over.

i mean she obviously has a catalogue full of iconic hits proven by her very successful residency.

but i think she's at the point in her career where she should be focusing on overall bodies of work rather than hit singles. i know shes only in her 30s but i see her as already being in her Mariah/Madonna/Cher stage of her career, she's a legend and she has nothing to prove/doesn't need to compete she just needs to continue adding great albums to her discography and furthering her legacy as one of the most important pop acts ever.
