If you grew up on a farm it's perfectly normal to shoot one of the dogs if they misbehave. If they will bite a human chances are they'll bite the sheep. So they gotta be put down.

Honey I grew up (and I still live) in a country area but fortunately I was born in 1996 and not in 1930.

My dog was abused by his previous owners so sometimes he used to bite me pretty rough and has left a mini scar on my finger but he doesn't really do it much anymore and if he does it's playful.
