The songs that don't make the cut could be released during the tour every 2 weeks or so for promo. But a cohesive filler free album from start to finish is ideal.

You can always ****ing delete tracks and make it short yourself, you know??!! Also songs you might consider "filler", somebody else might not, its all in individual taste. So having a long album that has something for everyone is great.

I agree to a certain extent, but I think sometimes albums can be too long if they have fillers/ bad songs that the majority of listeners hate/ dislike. If you can shorten and album down to 12 stellar songs it makes it a more enjoyable listen.

I'm just saying don't be surprised when the tracklist/album is released and there's only like 12 songs. It'd make more sense to release a regular length album of around 11-12 tracks (see: Bruno Mars, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Adele etc.) and irregardless of if it does well or not, they can then follow up with another album in a year like she was doing before.

At this point I wont settle for 12 tracks I want 16 to 18 minimum.
Double disc is asking for too much but would be ideal idc if it's cohesive or not that's what iTunes editing is for.

I don't see it being only 12 tracks anyway it will at least be 15 or more cause it has interludes.
