The chemistry between Boyega and Isaac was low-key even better than the chemistry between Boyega and Ridley.

It would bring up a very interesting thematic to explore in future. Aside from Luke having to explain his actions to Leia, a conflicting sibling theme would be very interesting and enhance the movie's vision of dark/good being a choice.

I was talking a lot about the films with friends before we saw the film yesterday and we agreed that Natalie had such wasted potential. Padme started off so well but fell in love and pregnant and became just a plot device.

Everything about this movie just reeks of a disaster. I'm getting a Spider-Man 3 vibe with Man of Steel unnecessary bleakness.

She was a means to an end (the OT trilogy). A shame too because she had her badass-esque moments in E1.

I tried so hard to distinguish when Padme was Natalie and when she was Keira. I know it was Natalie when she was in plainclothes but it's really hard to tell when they're in makeup.

Natalie Shartman is not all that. Cate Blandchett is starring in all those movies for nerds and even then she's always good.

Natalie isn't Queen Amidala that much. The most obvious scene is when she is in the Senate being Palpatine's puppet, she sounds NOTHING like Keira's Queen.
