hence why I am telling you and others BBTM is a pop album with inclinations towards other genres like rnb. his past albums and mixtapes/ep's are primarily RNB for sure but absolutely not BBTM.
Ppl get so into the whole "he is RNB" but that is a false generalization probably based off of his race.
It goes the same with Rih. She is a pop star but is commonly referred to as a RNB artist. even by grammy committees and other award shows.

Because Justin and his label paid producers and writers to create songs about his life and how we should feel sorry for him.

The only actual pop song on that album is Can't Feel My Face.

nearly all his songs on BBTM are pop with inclinations to RNB.
All the songs are a hybrid of pop and rnb on that album apart for CFMF and ITN which are pop to the T.
So there are no purely pop or purely rnb records on his album (apart for a couple).

The Weenknd success is amazing on its own. I never thought he would blow up the way he did. Both of them won TBH

You have it the other way around. It's an contemp r&b album with inclinations towards some pop songs. I don't know how one could listen to all of BBTM and say it's primarily pop. Just check the genre labels it has for yourself & come tell me what you find.

simply put: it's a mostly pop record with a lot of RNB inclinations. but it not a pure RNB album like a lot of ppl are making it out to be.

now this I can work with/sort of accept. maybe I just need to listen to the record again and re think it a little.
