One of the previous episodes got 1.4 in demo and 2.64m viewers. With streamings and DVR numbers included the show increased FOR 1.3 demo and 800k viewers. Almost 100% percent increase in demo. Demo is what matters for networks and advertisers. Not to mention that FX is going to drop live rating and only use streaming/DVR since it's making them money.
We're probably gonna get 3-4 more seasons since it's the biggest show on the network and is pulling big numbers

The last episode confirmed it for me. This season is HORRIBLE. Even worst than Freakshow. YES i said it.
Literally NOTHING has happened. This is the worst written season ever. Pointless characters, no story, random scenes, overuse of sex scenes, absolutely NO horror elements, and incredible actors/actresses being paid dust.
Angela Bassett and Sarah Paulson were done awfully wrong this season. Their characters are so pointless and underused. They don't have a story, they're just there.
Ryan needs to get his **** together and work his ass of to come up with a phenomenal story for next season, if he wants to redeem himself. He needs to go back to the dark atmosphere, and actual horror. And get back Lily, Jessica, Frances, Zach, Alexandra and Dermond and release the awful Cheyenne and John(don't remember his actual name). Lady Gaga can stay, but give her a character that is challenging and where she can actually show off her acting abilities. And definitely not a main role. She should get a supporting role for next season.

But in general, like talking about REAL numbers, more people have watched hotel than any other season.
And that's what the impact of Hotel will be. How many people have watched it overall, not how many people tuned in the first time.
Gaga is being seen by millions of people every week and that impact will show later on.
Hotel is the 3rd best season, people like it.

Messy Season. I've watched every single episode of this season and I still don't know whats going on exactly. Story wise it is all over the place. I think that gaga is doing a good job. Ryan and co always seem to screw things up after their first season. Also worth mentioning is the fact that Ryan and Co are working on like 5 shows at the same time, its bound to get messy.
