I don't know why, but the phrase "talent always wins" has been growing in popularity here on ATRL and it pisses me off. You try to go in a thread and there's always that one random person that's like "talent always wins".
First of all, what does talent win? A Grammy award? A platinum certification? Money? Like.. if someone was to say "talent always wins a Grammy" or something like that, that's perfectly fine. But there's some people that just say "talent always wins" and they don't even finish the sentence.
