Just listened to it. It's a solid album. Not her best work, but FAR better than her previous album.

Timbaland really messed her up though. The songs she did with him are all trash and let the album down. If she removed his 3 tracks and Anchor, she'd have a pretty incredible 10-track album tbh

I'm not too impressed so far, and I am a big Monica fan... "After The Storm" is still her best album, next to "The Boy is Mine" IMO.

Urban radio is gonna eat I Know and Alone In Your Heart up. But Deep,which is also a good choice.

Just played it. It's not really great but not horrible either. I'm missing her signature melodies but other than that it's fine.

Off topic: Does someone have that one Monica gif where she wears something blue and dances on stage?

I don't get why anyone wouldn't like this album, we needed a breath of fresh R&B air this year and we got it

"I Know" and "Anchor" are amazing songs.

The album is such a grower. Alone In Your Heart, Suga and Deep are some of Monica's best bops ever tbh

I'll still remove all the Timbaland tracks from the album though

I LOVE Monica but I HATE this album. This is her worst album!

After The Storm, Still Standing and even The Makings Of Me are amazing albums that I really enjoyed and that made me a fan. Since New Life her music has been lackluster though, it's sad!

I like the album, I gotta admit at first it wasnt what I expected, but I appreciate it more with each listen.

yea I'm getting into this with more listens, was a little put off at first. Its a grower definitely.

Alone in your Heart is a BOP and I also love All Men Lie.
