The prequels aren't THAT bad and the acting in EP 4 + the story are generic. Episode 3 had the best acting, story, and production. Minus the fact that Grievous was filler as ****.

I'll get dragged for this but for me it goes:
VI > III > VII > IV > V > I > II
I really liked VI because of the ending (which, unlike most things was enhanced by George Lucas's later edits) and because I'm a fan of the bounty hunters. I liked III too because the Order 66 scene was flawless, and I really liked how it ended with the Lars family holding Luke as they stare at the two suns.
All in all I'm a huge fan of the movies though, I don't dislike any of them.
funny thing is that the original movie, directed by Lucas, is probably the worst of the originals. it's great tho.
the best one is easily "empire strikes back", nothing will ever change that. it's a masterpiece
