i can't wait no more. i'll be seeing it in 3 hours. I will see it in regular 3D today and watch it again Sunday in Imax 3D with my friends.

Just got out the theatre. I'm speechless.

As someone who has literally never watched Star Wars before I saw this movie yesterday, I am flored. Amazing! I basically got a quick plot summary before the movie and that's it.

Currently on a binge on the other movies.

I'm going to try to see it next week again. Amazing.

If I hear anyone say star wars sucks when referring to TFA I'm gonna lose it.

The most exciting thing to me are the racial and gender dynamics really-- seeing Black and Hispanic heroes, seeing women who actively do the rescuing. Hopefully this encourages more big franchises to do the same.

The only things I didn't like about the film:

- The ending sequence was a bit weird. The transitions from shot to shot and then the camera flying over Rey and Luke for 2 minutes... I loved the concept tho.
- Kylo's characterization felt like the actor was miscast. He doesn't look like Han or Leia at all, when in reality, the actor kind of does. The acting was good but I hope we don't get Anakin 2.0. I went into the film not liking Kylo and left actually with a good impression, so I hope he delivers.
- Rey and Finn getting out of the planet by somehow using the Falcon and then encountering Han out of all people in the next shot was a mess. Too much "coincidences".

The rest was damn flawless. V > IV/VII > VI > I > III II

Not sure what I'm gonna use for the tiebreaker between VII and VI but I'll give it a few months to marinate in my mind. I LOVED the villain.

There's a theory that links the new trilogy to the prequel trilogy in some kind of way: Some people believe Snoke is actually Darth Plagueis, Palpatine's master. I don't think it would be a bad connection, as Snoke appearing in the universe out of nowhere without a single mention beforehand is a bit messy, but on the other hand, I don't want more "you know this character, well, he's actually X". We had that twist with Ren, we will have that twist with Rey and a third one wouldn't work.
