It seems like she drags people because she's well spoken and confident, interrupts all the time, and because she REALLY believes in what she's saying, which is completely ignorant and wrong. I think each and every one of us has had discussions with ignorant people who are unbelievably intransigent and listen to no reason that you get fed up and just stop going back and forth because it's not worth it. It may seem like you got dragged, but the reality of the situation is that these people are bullies, and people on the internet think that whoever is loudest is the one who wins.
PS. The interviewer was really bad, so that doesn't help either.
