Just the "will they ever escape the Asylum/Phsyco munderer." I watched the whole season in 2 days. Yet, I'm having trouble getting through Freak Show.

It was well paced. Funny, dark, emotional when it needed to be.

Far less self indulgent than Freakshow and Hotel.

Likeable characters. I wanted Lana out that asylum sooo bad. Idc if any of the hotel characters live or die tbh.

like are we not gonna talk about how poorly connected Kit and his situation was to the greater Briarcliff story arc? It felt so unnecessary and tacked on

and people (me included at one point) do too much on coven, I rewatched the whole season a couple months ago and found it enjoyable

I've rewatched Asylum probably 20 times and the whole alien plotline still doesn't make sense to me

The first half of Asylum wasn't good, imo. The entire alien storyline was just misplaced. It got better towards the end but tbh I would've preferred if it wasn't in there at all. The last few episodes were AHS at its best though. Asylum was successful because of how great the cast was, they could compensate for messy Ryan Murphy writing in a way other actors in other seasons struggle to do.

I agree about the alien plot line being out of place, but it is forgivable.

Coven is not unwatchable. It is very entertaining and hilarious. The writing was still very messy, but hey it's no Freakshow. Hotel is decent, but wasted so much potential. The seconds half is what the show should have been from the start.

Season 2, even with its minor flaws, is still the best season.

Jessica mother****ing Lange, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe as the main characters! Nuff said

I like every season of AHS, because they are all different. Asylum definitely it's my favorite tho.
