It must be nice to have your Sun on your ascendant like that, though.

It's pretty interesting. Sun in House I makes you very self-assured, self-confident and makes your identity very important to you. It also makes you authentically yourself, it makes you a "what you see is what you get" kind of person, especially with my Sun being on my Asc. Adding a stellium to the House I makes your identity even more important, but also something that you end up having to fight to express (which is painfully true for me). A 1st House stellium can also be kind of confusing, especially having as many planets in my 1st House as I do. Since House I is about identity, adding planets to the 1st House makes them a strong part of your personality, and when there's as many as I have, they can be conflicting and you become ever-changing, but at the same time, authentically yourself. Throwing in a moody Cancer Moon and an unreadable Capricorn influence to the equation, I'm a ever-changing mystery.
This is pretty succinct.

The 1st house focus will compel the native to live out their very own path, and yet you’ll frequently find the 1st house person fighting to be themselves and to remain free of others’ definitions, even as they are swayed by others’ ideas of who they might be (especially for me with Neptune in House I). Freedom of thought, action, and self-perception are the lifeblood of the 1st house, and are frequently denied, making the task of a lifetime self-definition.
