The only thing I'm sure of tonight is that Jordan is in the finals, and Shelby, as the only one not in the top 10 on iTunes, will be eliminated (poor ha, she must be fuming)
For me, the biggest surprise is that both Emily Ann and Barrett made it to the finals. I honestly thought only one of them would make it, and that Amy, Jeffery and Jordan would be the other finalists
Also, I kiiied when Carson was saying that 8 of the 9 finalists made it into the top 10, and when they showed the contestants on stage, you can see Shelby's look of defeat on ha face
This show is...just a show. It literally has produced nothing in terms of success in the music industry. When are they going to learn? The show touts itself as the quirky alternative that is "all about the voice," but the audiences who've voted do not in turn purchase the music when it is released. The Voice has 9 highly rated seasons and all they have to offer is Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbury who are AT BEST, B-List on the country scene?
X-Factor may have been a flop show, but at least they'll have Fifth Harmony.
At this point, The Voice has been outperformed in terms of industry success by American Idol and X-Factor. Adam and Blake will have a monopoly on all the winners (they've won all but two seasons and were Top 2 in the two seasons they did not) and they've clearly showed they don't know what it takes to mentor someone for success in the industry.
I know Adam and Blake are in the next cycle (season 10), but I hope they leave after that. I want new coaches for season 11. A panel with Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson, John Legends, and Enrique Iglesias would be so awesome!
