I expect her 1st week numbers to be about the same as usual

The longevity will depend on if radio latches on to any of the songs and if she garners any hits from the album. I expect her to release another single before releasing the album as well.
This era has been messy but I don't think the hype is gone at all, the lack of momentum is what's hurting the era. I can't count how many times we've had a 'false start' where we think the album is coming or the campaign is finally getting underway and then things come to a complete halt. We've seen that people get excited and the anticipation builds when they actually give us something to be excited about. When the AntiDiary thing started, everyone was perched for what we all thought was the album roll out, the Diary was trending on twitter, HDD and other outlets were predicting the album to be released within the week or 2 and that's the way it should have been but of course all of that went to hell when they left us high and dry, going days before the next room was unlocked. People obviously WANT the album, it's the most anticipated release of Rih's career so that's not the issue, the issue is the terrible execution. I hope they settle on a traditional release soon. Release another single and announce the album release date simultaneously, release the album 1 or 2 weeks after and do some heavy promo in-between. I'm guessing the album is coming in January or February at this point. She'll likely be the only big release in the 1st qrt so a chance for her to regain some of that momentum, we'll see. I hope the Super Bowl commercial she was shooting the other day is album related.
