lol but more seriously, Canadians generally sound more... how can I describe it... mellow. I have a lot of Canadian friends and all of them sound like they're a bit high all the time (and, before you ask, they aren't). Justin Beiber does have a bit of American in his voice, but you can also tell that the mellow, super-nice undertone is there.
