I think I want to start over, this time without interruptions!
But yeah, so I basically want to change the way I do my lists.
Now we've got 55 English Singles, and 30 Asian Singles.
The other two will stay the same.
I just wanted to do that because I think that way I can fit more, and I like it a bit better separated I guess.
If i'm 100% honest I listened to Asian music a LOT more this year anyway, so this lets me put in songs I had to cut!
I will start the *new* countdown in just a bit, this time with simpler and more manageable graphics. Thanks for sticking with me through all my oddities~

 Courtney Barnett - Depreston
As far as her singles go I much prefer this one because she uses her sarcastic tone for good! It really matches the dreariness of he lyrics, and she's able to set up this really interesting atmosphere with her songwriting. It was the one song that really stood out to me on her album.
dvsn - With Me
Bumped this down just a bit, but I listened to it again, and I was yet again amazed at how he was able to keep the momentum through a 7 minute song. That's a really tough thing to do with this new minimalist R&B craze.
Natalie Prass - Bird of Prey
Bumped her down a bit for fairness . But everything I had said before still holds true, her vocals are the key to this album, even though it might seem at first that its the arrangements. What works best is that everything fits together so perfectly, you're almost surprised at how it all comes together.
Vince Staples - Get Paid
Probably my favourite hip hop debut of the year, and it's easy to see why. He can handle both the tough topics and the straight up jams with perfect gravitas.
Demi Lovato - Confident
Much like Jason in my old list, I am still getting over the fact that Demi managed to place. If you ask me about the whole Demi v. Selena thing I'll say Demi won the year (what with all the memes) but she also won with this song. Hook after hook, and I like it a lot better than the other single.

BIGBANG - Let's Not Fall In Love
fff I don't care, I LIVE for ballads like these. I could listen to this on repeat for several hours, its just so magical. Like I said earlier, their releases this year were very mixed, but this was one of like two songs that stuck with me from the start.
SISTAR - Shake It
Like I said before, SISTAR are kind of generic and hard for me to get into, but I bopped to this quite a lot this past year. It has a lot of life to it and a lot of energy, basically it satisfies that feel-good bop I couldn't find in the West.
Amber - Shake That Brass
I'm throwing this here because I saw in another thread someone talk about the Missy influences and now that I see them I kind of like this song a lot more ( ). I mean I love Amber, she's probably my fave, but this song wasn't totally it. I still think its cute and catchy, but I'm sure she can do better.

Mess.
Depreston is cute I guess, it has a nice hook. Get Paid is a bop and obviously Bird of Prey is flawless.

Oh, nn @ this re-starting.
Bird of Prey is still beautiful, the Courtney song was decent but Pedestrian >
Confident is kinda trash but I despise the post-Unbroken Demi in general.

Well...at least we're back on track now?
And with "Depreston", no less! Man, 2015 was a good year to **** on the suburbs of Melbourne, wasn't it?

EXID - Ah Yeah
A sexier, more refined version of "Up & Down". I love the little digs towards the censorship through the video and the twisty sass in the chorus.
Lim Kim - Awoo
I feel like her vocals can get a bit tiring sometimes, but I appreciate their uniqueness. Everything works for this song though.
GaIn - Paradise Lost
Just a bit low because I kind of overplayed it tbh. I love the concept and its executed so well. She isn't afraid to explore different ideas and question things through her music, but the best part is she keeps the #quality. Hopefully now we can get back on track dd
