My favorite song off E-Gorls album this year, the mixture of pop, trap, art and rock in the production makes for one hell of gem in their discography, the bridge alone has me starndless
Truly the talent and beyonce of SEVENTEEN, Vernon came for king of rap status after dropping this BOP of a single though I could of done without the Don Mills feature tbh .
Honestly don't know how I ever came across KOHH but after downloading his previous album which kinda slayed I decided to give his new one a listen and this was my instant fav off it, what kind of Pre Game anthem?
I lowkey hated this song and never listened to after my first listen but after they dropped the MV for it something happened and the hymn was suddenly listenable and a utter bussy boppin track. The Birgde >>>>>>
Many flop singles & vacations later in japan, the Queen of Korea finally decided to bless her homeland with another magnum opus and this is one of may album tracks that had me snatched despite not being a bop, Queen serving raw emotion and acoustics
The utter disrespect @ this not getting a MV from Namie when it was clearly superior to it's A-Side "Red Carpet". Anyways this hymn gives me major Neon Lipstick & Sweet Kisses teas which are some of Namie's best so no surprise it serves quality
I literally only started listening to this in late October I've been paying BTS slight dust since Boy In Luv ? or somewhere around there since I was more here for their debut sound but surprisingly I Need U is kinda their best single to date
This one's for Sorbet After conquering both South & North Korea the queens of AoA decided to tug at Japans wig and successfully they did with this quality bop
This should probably be much higher but I'm too lazy to fix my list anymore G.Soul truly slayed me this year with his debut despite the lack of promo after a 15 year training process but atleast he put out a quality mini and a Top Tier hymn such as this, something about his voice is just enjoyable to listen to especially mixed with such great production
After being useless for a majority of UR season 2, Jiyoon finally pulled through after Queen Of Rap Yubin boosted her self esteem during their group challenge and managed to snatch a spot in the semi finals were she pulled an 180 and served this massive bop.
At first this debut single from nugu group RaNia didn't sit well with me considering a group who shared a similar name and company had a perfect record of ripping my scalp to pieces with each comeback and when they annouced this debut I was hyped AF only to be let down to a fairly mediocre song but as time has passed this has definitely grown on me especially the verses, the best thing about this however has to be the choreo tho.
Another nugu group who finally managed to serve some quality music after many flop and tragic attempts at a career. Despite 70% of the song being sung by one member their rapper kinda snatched her verse and the choreo was pretty on point
Dddd; the last Kumi song on this years list goes to the best track off her Walk Of My Life mixtape I mean the chorus alone snatches the whole album. The bridge rent a rap was kinda unexpected but it's bearable
Yaaaasss at you paying respect to the QUEEN of pop and legendary dusty J-Pop diva Koda Kumi!!!!!!!!!! ugh she has slayed me so hard so endlessly over the years. God she looks good in the ex-tape video. And mother of god your graphics.
