There are only three types of people that think Drake is good:
3) Gays who want to create the illusion that they have a diverse taste in music
This one actually applies to Kendrick more. 80% of these gays claim to love him when they never listen to Rap. They just wanna feel like they're on the good-side of the stance of Rap and like they know about Rap.
Lol girl I don't know who y'all know but LOTS of white people love Kendrick too.
Any Rappers selling Platinum and having the top albums of the year are supported by white people. Black people are not buying the music.
It's teen/college white guys. The same white guys that love Eminem, Drake, and Lil Wayne also love Kendrick. He's not above the white people love lols.
True tea. Emphasis on platinum. Eminem and Wayne do put out silly singles but their following is unmatched.
Luckily drake and kendrick keep it artistic and quench the GP's thirst at the same time.
that's a talent for a rapper to do in itself because basically it's an art form (using that loosely nowadays) in which artistry and talent will surpass the GP's hands length proceed with caution hesitation to embrace rap past the fun fluff and stereotypical songs that only PUSH HIPHOP far backwards.

They faux stan for him because of Swimming Pools and Maad City (but only the remixed version with Imagine Dragons)
Lol Ken lost that black power cred when he collaborated on Bad Bloodsus ..
So that's why his album sold more than 200k copies.
That black power cred typically is all talk and little support.
Kendrick has conquered the demon of forcing black culture to keep him in a one dimensional box for their own reasons of thinking they control the artist and as soon as the artist does something they don't like they want to disown them.
I'm proud of him for being multifaceted and an acclaimed rap artist that is actually saying someting and pushing the needle forward with the community...which is hard for rappers to personify. Not everyone achieves that.
That is true. EVERYONE loves Drake. He IS the most universal artist out.
White people love him, black people love him, he even has a large latino fanbase, teenagers love him, older people love him, men love him, women love him, gays love him, straight people love him, etc.
