I'm not sure how educated many of the barbz are on rap music. I don't think they realize that 90% of her delivery flow and a significant portion of her verses can be traced back to a select number of artists.
For instance, when anaconda came out they were trying to put their finger on what it sounded like and how it sounded fresh and not a flow she used before.
Outside of the fact that anaconda is a subpar song lyrically and could have easily been a song she debuted to the masses in 2008/9, it was a rip off flow of JJ fad supersonic and two other songs.
I'm not surprised they'd think kendrick ripped off her style because they might not be privy to all the styles she ripped off including wayne.
She has a song called I'm legit that completely rips off a flow of an underground rapper too so it's not just past legendary rappers.
Take their "receipts" with a grain of salt.
