"You know you're a **** cop?"
It was such a great moment, particularly since Lou is such a taciturn character. His small moments are so brilliant. I think it's easy to overlook Patrick Wilson's performance among such meaty characters, but I think he's fantastic.

I think it's understandable that Hank might **** up when he didn't look after Peggy in the last episode.
Also, based on that shot of his office, he might be a little nuts.
I get excited every time someone mentions SIOUX FALLS.
Is Simone really dead? We never heard a gunshot, and Bear's rage would make a lot of sense if he found himself unable to do it. I wouldn't mind if she was alive, I like her.

That's literally the best hour of television i've seen this year. A perfect 10/10

Ed's pleads to stop stabbing the hostage were hilarious line reads by Jessie Plemons.
Dodd's desperate eyes towards Ed was fantastic, like, "what the hell is this crazy doing?"
- "She's crazy. Keep her away from me." I almost fell off the couch. - When Dodd gets the pillowcase over his head and says "goddamnit." Comedy gold.

On any other show, a woman casually stabbing a guy twice, even with shallow cuts like Peggy gave Dodd, would be kind of horrifying. Here, it is utterly hilarious. I had to pause multiple times because I was laughing so hard that I was crying.
Ed: "Hon, did you stab the hostage?"
- Peggy: "No" - Dodd: "Yes."
It was like two little kids getting caught with their hands in the cookie jar, but with more blood.

I need to see the outtakes for the cabin scenes. All three actors were fantastic but I can't imagine it was easy to get through some of those lines with a straight face.

Sioux Falls

I noticed the UFO distracted Hanzee long enough for Peg and Ed to make their getaway. It was also the same reason for the incident: Peggy hitting Rye with her car in episode 1. Very fitting. And perfectly absurd.
I believe Hank will pull through; I'm far less certain about Betsy.
The tension was truly well-played. We all (well, most of us) knew about the build towards Sioux Falls for this season, but I'm still pleased how this season has played out and the tension the show creators were able to give each episode.

Two iconic lines:

Peggy: "It's just a flying saucer! hon, we gotta go"
I loved that. Everyone (including us) has been seeing Peggy as a psycho all season, but now we see that reality is so ****ing crazy (a pile of dead bodies) that she's the only one actually equipped to deal with it.

Mike: "Okay, then."
Not only hilarious, but a brilliant echo of the scene in the butcher shop in the first episode. Mike takes a look at the chaos and death around him and accepts it in the same way Ed accepted some meat chops. Perhaps that's the best we can do with such absurdity.

This season is a ****ing bloodbath and it's not even finished

Man, I think the thing I'm gonna take away from this season the most was the amazing performance of Kirsten Dunst. Never knew she had it in her--my God, that scene outside the cooler was just gut-wrenching.
One weird thing was, I kinda saw where Peggy was coming from---no sympathy for that bad guy just wandering in front of her car? Granted, she royally screwed up everything after that, with little to no remorse, but she WAS right----had that evil Rye Gerhardt not been fleeing the scene of a multiple murder, her life wouldn't have been ruined.

- Poor, poor, poor Gerhardt family. I feel sadness in that montage in the beginning, I never expected.
- Kirsten Dunst, here's your Emmy. You deserve it. Take it. There it is.
- Hanzee. Pure evil. Lives. That is quite Coen.
- Laughed my ass off at Mike getting his reward .... in middle management.
- Betsy is okay. Hank's okay. What the ****, am I being personally appeased?
- "Goodnight Mr. Solverson." "Goodnight Mrs. Solverson. And all the ships at sea..."


Bravo Noah Hawley, and everyone else involved in this wonderful show. Cant wait till season 3.


NP: Apparently the two kids we see playing baseball in the park are "Mr Wrench" and "Mr. Numbers" from season 1. They both work for a guy named Tripoli in season 1 (and Hanzee changed his name to Tripoli). In this season finale, we last see Hanzee about to kill the guys who are bullying the two kids.

This show is the epitome of fantastic. I cannot get enough. Bring on Season 3 already.

OMG, I didn't get the kids scene at first but it makes so much sense now. This show is pure genius. Didn't enjoy the Finale is much as the previous episode, tho. Expected a bit more action, but still an AMAZING season.

Am I the only one who enjoyed season 1 more than season 2?
