That's fair. Have they ever compared as far as you know, the statistics of white on white crime and black on black crime in cities?
I'm not certain (I'm not particularly involved in the BLM movement), but I would imagine it's similar when you scale it. It'd be interesting to see though, either way.
Protesters turn to general public disruption because that's the only way to force people to stop and reconsider issues.
The dissemination of resources such as literature, criticism, media, etc. is nice and all, but at the end of the day it doesn't capture the public's attention.
While every movement, I'm sure, has a problem here and there, to discount the BLM movement for its form of protest is an acknowledgement on your part that you don't care for the movement nor its goals. If it boils down for you to its methods, then you're not down for the cause.
