Whitney's voice was awful at the end. People just forget. I remember when the media used to drag her endlessly. Like that one time they had a story about people leaving her show because they said her voice sucked. They triedT the same with Mariah back in 2014, but MC prevailed. The media won't stop though.

While I think she sounds fine, I honestly don't really care that much about live vocals. I love it when they're amazing (I sit and watch old Whitney and Mariah performances all the time), but the truth is that I'm not gonna follow Mariah around on tour (and one only sees the Beacon/Vegas videos if they go searching for them). I am, however, going to listen to her songs/albums every day, like I do now.
and ultimately what matters more to me. For example, Whitney wasn't giving good live performances for the ILTY era, but I listened to that album SO much and still do. That's what survives. I'm much more concerned about how MC will sound on her next album than about a couple weeks of live perfs.
