Maybe it's the hangover but I watched the entire video and understood next to nothing of what he said, minus the part you typed out. It's like he was just speaking gibberish.

But this isn't surprising and is part of the reason Beyonce has pulled back from doing press in the traditional manner.

he didn't say anything complicated

all he said is that there are multiple media outlets and how they reach their audience can be authentic or inauthentic. he cited Youtube as a place where you can go and watch content that is being delivered to you based on what you personally find interesting. Then he cited media outlets like GMA (and basically ever other news show) that sensationalizes every upcoming story just to get ratings even if the story has little to no content (aka the Beyoncé vegan diet debacle). he said that's inauthentic and it damages their credibility and brand.

I understood the GMA part and the gist of what he was trying to say prior to that. It just felt really disjointed to me and like he wasn't communicating his point very well.
