How can you trademark blank space? That's a phrase that people used long before that mediocre song...that makes about as much sense as trademarking "that makes about as much sense." How tacky.
ATRL still not understanding how trademarks work even though it was explained to them, at the very least, one million times. She probably wants to put out some merch with these phrases, and she needs the trademarks to avoid any legal problem there could be!
Like someone explained already, she's trademarking those phrases to avoid legal battles for her merch. This might have something to do with her clothing line that's coming.

Chanel-o-ween was a parody of it. She made a video of herself wrapping gifts to her fans and then made them record themselves crying while opening the gifts, then went to visit some girl and delivered her a gift in person. Then at the end she showed loads of headlines from newspapers like "Taylor Swift Nicest Pop Star Ever!" etc.
