I don't understand how haters affect her so damn much... If she were really happy she wouldn't be trying so damn hard to act like she doesn't care... It's sad.
Like girl you are so rich and successful, why do you pay so much attention to the negative things people say and waste your time on it? She sounds so pressed.
She got the award because she's like one of the three recognized black women in mainstream music right now, it's a ****ed up thing, and she deserves to be noticed for it.
But she makes terribly average music & panders to the charts incessantly. I wish she'd actually try and muster up something creatively important like her lesser known peers.

Maybe because it's more than money to her. Anybody can tell Nicki takes what she does serious. She works extremely hard and wants her recognition and rightfully so. It's clear she cares about her legacy. That's why stuff like this gets to her.
