So, a while ago a guy I was talking to online used to put pictures of an ugly guy
But he suddenly changed his pictures to a way more handsome guy, and when I asked him who it was he said it was him
He said that that younger guy was his "cousin".
A few weeks later I asked him how his "cousin" was doing and he said he was good. Then he asked me if his "cousin" is as handsome as him, and I bluntly said no/
Then I kept bashing his cousin and making fun of his HUGE nose
I feel absolutely vile, sistrens
He's a nice guy though. He changed his picture to the more handsome guy after I changed mine
I guess he was trying to impress me
But I know he's catfishing me, and I don't want to expose ha

How do you handle being catfished? Do you exposé? Do you play along?

Well as tempting as it is to school someone for trying to trick you, if he’s doing that he’s obviously quite insecure, and being so blunt and going to those lengths to make him feel bad about himself is not going to help the situation at all. You’ve probably just made him more uncomfortable with sharing his real self.

I think the only proper thing to do with catfishes is to say right away that you know what they’re doing. Let them know that their tricks do not work, so that maybe they don’t try and repeat it. Shade them for the trick, but that’s it.

Well if I could go back, I'd just move away from that person and not interact with him/her. I had that experience with 2-3 people, but one was like extreme. The dude lied about everything about him. And when everyone exposed him he tried to cover it up. Now everyone is asking themselves why did he do it, I mean, there was no need for it. He is still trying to continue with it, and it's so fake and pathetic, and kinda sad.

I always say snapchat me if I have feeling they are fake. If they don't comply I just tell them I know they're a catfish and I will block
