People forget the benefits of religion so easily to fulfill their own agenda. People can act for themselves, and if they decide that religion isn't for them, then they can decide that and not do it.

What did I say that even refers to the bashing of gay rights? I don't know what your agenda is, but you obviously have a chip on your shoulder. I'm gay myself bruh, and yet it seems like the idea of tolerance towards all groups of people is a ridiculous idea to you. I'm the one preaching tolerance for all groups -atheists, gays, and the religious. You, however, have shown intolerance towards religious people by making this thread and attacking those who have differing opinions.

No parents can actually control their children's minds. They can expose their children (and its their parental rights to do so) to the values and beliefs that they would like their children to have, but they cannot determine what those children actually end up believing. Also, the assumption that "indoctrinating" children about religion is child abuse is completely unfounded. Scientific studies show exactly the opposite. Children who have a religious upbringing tend to be happier and healthier.
My parents forced Christianity on both my brother and I, and now both of us are atheist. They still try to force it on us and tell us "God is watching you" and "You'll have to pay for this one day" like the ****?

So opinions based on logic are intolerant but if its coming the other way, it never is. Im not here to attack, just express question/express/decipher. Why is that so compelling to you and why would you feel like those who are non confirming to illogical diety are here to opress your belief system. Relax bruh.
