Thing is both Donald and Katie do make valid points some of the time- very rarely, but still they do from time to time. It's just the way they articulate them to shock people and rile people up that's the issue here.
For example, Donald wants to talk about the 'UK's Muslim problem'? I've lived here all my life and known hundreds of Muslims and never had a problem with any of them, nor have any of them tried to inflict their beliefs on me.
If he didn't generalise and said he wanted to tackle 'radical, or extreme' behaviour, then I think more people would see his POV. As it stands he's just coming off as an asshole who wants to tar everyone with the same brush.
