Last year I worked at a call center at my college where I would call alumni and parents of students to ask for donations. I got told off/yelled at/hung up on a lot and I hated feeling guilty about annoying people. It was literally the most emotionally stressful thing I've ever done, and I quit after only 4 months.

same I know people who love that job and I don't know why, it was the worst job ever

Yes henny, I put mine in the other day. I was working in hospitality for a huge theme park and could feel myself falling back into depression/anxiety, so I needed to get the **** out. They were cool with it though, but I'm sure they saw it coming the amount of times I went off at everyone in the kitchen.

I've been in the same boat. I was working at a salon but I just hated every second I was there, it was taking away from my study time because I put so much energy into my work. So I talked it over with my parents and my mom even said the job seemed bad for me considering it gave me ALOT of anxiety, which was not healthy for me since I suffer from GAD and OCD...

It gave me a lot of anxiety also to face my boss and say I quit because I didn't want to explain why and I'm very passive at any job, I don't like confrontation. They were really cool with it though. Don't overthink it. If they're a professional work place they won't take it personal or give you a hard time and if they do then they are very unprofessional, and that's not a place you'd want to work for anyways. It's looks much worse for them to be rude or disrespectful to you for wanting to quit so just keep that in mind.

Yup, pretty tragic story too . I worked at a mushroom factory for 2 days Quit because the working conditions were horrendous and 13 hour days of manual labour...no thank you. They wanted me working 7am to 8pm saturday and sunday, as well as 3pm to 8pm monday and tuesday, all while in addition being in highschool. All day heavy lifting and bending over constantly, there was no way in hell. The cherry on top was that the place wasn't even in town, I had to get a 30 minute drive there and back.

I got a way better job a couple months later so it all worked out anyways. No regrets

It's been a year and a half since I started working here and i'm no longer happy... I started emailing my resume to others company and when it comes the time to quit i'll do it by phone or email.

My vacation was planned months in advance and I had already paid for everything. I was going to not go.
