He could've been nominated in 2014. Competition wasn't as strong as this year and novelty hits have been nominated before.

But still, he shouldn't be surprised at him not getting a nom.

I think that was different because he actually wrote, produced, and promoted the song (MySpace) all by himself, and it hit #1. I remember them making it a big deal at the time because of his age.

But then again, the song was trash too. Lol!
