Based on that logic Clinton nor Obama would have never been president. And take in consideration Al Gore won the popular vote and most likely the electoral college in the 2000 election. Bush only became president because the Supreme Court deemed him as such because of the debacle in Florida. The country is also becoming more blue. Younger people are becoming more liberal, hispanics tend to be liberal and in each election their are more that vote. Also older people are more likely to be conservative and they are dying.

Yep, and even if he doesn't get the Republican nomination and wants to run as an Independent they still end up ****ing themselves by dividing the party votes like Gore and Nader in 2000.


Honestly it seems like Donald Trump is going to **** up any possibility of a Republican getting into the white house either way, whether he gets the nomination or not.

Unfortunately, Trump's ideas are basically what a lot of people think behind closed doors. He's basically just saying them aloud and they finally have some sort of voice. It's scary.

Nader might have made Gore lose some votes but that's not why he lost the election. There was so much **** that went on in Florida and the fact that the Republicans refused a recount of the Florida votes and took it to the Supreme court is ********. They gave those electoral votes to Bush without conducting a recount but based on what 9 people said in the Supreme Court. It is even in the constitution under the 12th Amendment that states that if no electoral majority is won, only the three candidates who receive the most popular votes will be considered in the House. This actually happened in the election of 1824 and the House selected John Quincy Adams. Thus the House was suppose to vote on it but didn't go there because at the time there were more democrats so republicans fought like hell against it. The supreme court even said in their ruling “Our consideration is limited to the present circumstances" meaning that this method was to not be used in future legal precedent. Overall there was a lot of underhanded stuff that went on in the 2000 election. Regardless though, if Bush never ruined the US then Obama probably would have never been president. So I can live with Gore's loss.

They are more logical than Iowans in NH...they usually always go for the candidate that can best win in the general...which is why Chris Christie is moving up in the polls in that state.

I lived in NH for a year, people's political views are so unpredictable and certainly not tied to any other state. They swing back and forth between parties too, it's very weird.

The establishment doesn't hate Trumps views. They just don't want people to know about them. In fact they are worse. They want to hurt minorities. Trump simply wants a moratorium on our immigration policy. Lets face it Marco Rubio voted against the immigration bill he co-sponsored. So lets not act like Trump is some anomaly in the Republican party. He's the honest one on his views even if he gets it wrong sometimes or is a little harsh. His point still stands.

We need a moratorium on immigration until we can get a handle on who's coming into our country and why and what they are doing while they are here. He never said anything about banning muslims forever. He said explicitly until we can figure out "what the hell is going on".
