You may be a "genuine" human being to those around you, but as an artist, you are a fake, and critics and the general public can smell it like sharks. And then you break down and cry and play the victim when those media sharks tear into your flesh for being a fake. It's the same circle of events with every album release, but she's still not self-aware. The only thing people expect from her is to release good pop music, and nothing else. The general public doesn't even expect good videos from her anymore. Just release a good, non-pretentious pop song. Or shut up and tour with Tony Bennett until he dies in five years. It's your call, kid.
