I live in NYC in manhattan so pretty much they're like 10 gays to each block, even in urban areas like harlem, not to mention hells kitchen, west/east village, chelsea are all gay friendly and have lots of hunties everywhere u turn

"Urban" in music doesn't mean the same thing as "urban" when talking about cities
yeah, people can be gay pretty openly in DC and not get much backlash from it, and there's a really active gay community here. there are some homophobes but the chances of getting beaten up for being gay are very very low
