And not every bisexual person will leave their male partner in exchange for a female. I dated a bisexual guy for 2 years and after we broke up he dated another man. It's just as likely as a gay man leaving for another gay man, or a straight person leaving their partner for someone else. People need to stop harping on the fact that they like both sexes, and realize that if they leave you, it's more likely because they weren't happy with you. It's nothing to do with preferring to be with a female.

People say that bisexuals are only good for hookups, and you should never get into a relationship with us or settle down with us. Why should I suffer and be alone simply because I like more than one gender? If somebody is dating a gay person, and they cheat or whatever, I never hear people going "well that's it for me, I'm never going to date a gay person ever again" so why do people generalize bisexuals like that? Bisexual is me, it's literally who I am. It's kind of hurtful to see so much discrimination towards me by both the gay community and the heterosexual community. I can't change who I am, but I actually would if I could. The ignorance towards bisexuality is shocking, particularly from the LGBT community who should be the most understanding, but they're the least understanding.

With men, it's actually the fault of the gays who lie saying they're bisexuals, gays that get into relationships/sex with girls just so people can believe they actually like girls when they only do men, getting into nasty situations and hurtful love triangles, so the actual bisexuals get all the bad reputation because of these liars.

Also, lots of bisexuals don't acknowledge their shame of sexuality, act with bewilderment when they're approached on the subject of the possibility of leaving their same sex partner for an opposite sex partner as if they could never do that. They try to paint themselves in this ultra-liberal image where it'd be outrageous if they were ashamed of liking the same sex when it's true. Actual gays deal with social anxiety because of their sexuality all the time but bisexuals, try to act as if they were above it, when they are actually as afraid of discrimination as any gay, and probably would leave their same sex partner for a heterosexual relationship so they don't deal with the discrimination and social stress, but actually lie to themselves and just do that out of fear just like a closeted guy who got out of the closet but things didn't work out for him so he gets back into it and get in a relationship with a girl so he can relax socially but inevitably cheats on her because he's really gay. Because yeah, fear, discrimination, shame can ruin a bisexual same-sex relationship, the same way a relationship can be ruined with someone with a closeted person.

Many people claim they're bisexuals just so they feel more true to themselves when they actually like more the same sex than the opposite, but don't have the guts to get it full on with a person of the same sex, because there's this shame that is not talked about as much of being a "social retrograde", they don't wanna be seen as people who are not social progressists so they half-way assume their sexuality, because the "bisexual" label is less harsh on them than the "gay" label, try to act super-liberal but they're rotting in fear inside and would be pissing in their pants if they would have to deal with what a feminine gay has to deal always.

So yeah, people who discriminate them see these kind of things in a blurry mess and can't explain very justifiably why they rule them out and just say they're more prone to cheat when the situation is actually a bit more complex as I explained above.

I think many people just disregard bisexuality as an actual sexuality. I know many people who simply say because I have been with men, regardless of the fact that I enjoy being with women as well, I am automatically gay in their mind. It is extremely frustrating and disrespectful. It is like telling someone who is gay that their lifestyle isn't valid.

If you are with a girl and you love her just keep it to yourself.
