Taylor's barely undergone any kind of re-invention. There's hardly any difference from her now than when she released Fearless. She went more pop, big deal.

She was already pretty much pop before.

She basically said they follow trends in a way. I have to say, Adele is by far the most complimentary of other artists. It's probably because she is so secure within her own self and her own art that she doesn't have to shade others'. I kinda love that. ATRL is always saying that they should all support each other, and Adele is the epitome of that exact sentiment.

yeah, I personally don't see how Taylor has really reinvented herself. But I'm not a stan of hers so it's not as obvious to me as it may be to others.

No one is saying she HAS to change, stop being dramatic. She can keep doing the same thing all her life if she wants to keep selling records, no one is going to stop her.

My personal opinion is that it makes her boring as an artist, to be repeating a formula over and over again instead of evolve and explore with new things, but as she said, not everyone can pull that off, and she's probably one of those who can't.

I'm just saying there's no point in her changing because it's not like her audience is asking her to change. I don't think it would be worth hurting your brand to make yourself more interesting to a group of people who wouldn't buy or support your album anyways.
