Interesting. Girls Aloud never tried to break into the American market because they knew they'd bomb. I'd suggest her label see how well the album does in Europe first though.

She better record some more songs "3 Words (song)" isn't a strong debut single and "Fight For this Love" should be saved for 2nd or 3rd. I want Cheryl to work with Danja & Bloodshy, (lol all the same producer's Britney works with)

She will probably record some new "US friendly" songs and change the tracklisting of the album.

Hopefully. Because the album itself isn't strong enough either. The good tracks are excellent, the bad ones are simply horrible and there's nothing in between.

Most of the tracks on the album are LONG and VERY REPETITIVE. "3 Words" could probably be taken down to 1 minute if you got rid of the boring instrumental breaks and repeats of every word.

I'd rather it be any of the other GA members breaking into the US market. 3 Words is such an average album from such an average singer. Not that she has to be particularly talented to be releasing music in this day and age, but most of the "average singers" in her category at least have something interesting or unique sounding about their voice, or a certain persona that is captivating (Britney, Kylie, JLo etc). Cheryl is just sorta all around bland to me.

Oh yes! Cheryl needs to step up her game though if she wants that coveted spot in the US pop music scene.

I'm a hater because I think she'll flop? I don't even care about the girl but okay.

And that equates to an unfounded dislike, since there's no reason to believe she'll flop.


Also, "floppity flop" isn't exactly the best way to put: I think she will flop in The US. It makes you sound like you dislike Cheryl.

But I really don't like "3 Words" it seems to build up to a chorus, but it really doesn't.. it really bland for a 1st single in my opinion.
She needs to get RedOne and Xenomania to produce her 2 or 3 new club bangers for the US release, that's what the album lacks. Stand Up is not really a club banger as Taio Cruz says...

She needs to get some new material for the US market because her album works very well for the UK market but not for US market .. she does need to work with RedOne (coz hes like my fav producer EVER!!) .. and I do think releasing "3 Words" as a first single is not a good idea as the song is a little bit boring and repetitive.

Fight For This Love is a much better single

Stand Up isnt a much of a club banger as Taio said .. thats true too .. I like the song but again it's very much a UK banger not meant for US either
