Say you're on a date and it just ain't the tea. The other person isn't outstandingly rude or anything and you really want to go. Is it okay to pretend you're going to your car or the bathroom... and bail tf out of the date, leaving your date waiting and wondering where you are? Or is it justified for some reason?

if they're not creepy and you simply don't feel a connection, then it's rude. at least be polite enough to let them know you're leaving, give them a lie as to why you're going. if they're nice it's mean to leave them hanging

I would never do that, it's just plain rude and unjustified, if you want to end the date just say to them that you'd like to go and they'll hopefully go with you and then end the date with a kiss on the cheek or a goodbye.

Yes, its rude. At the very least you can tell them you need to leave for whatever reason (i.e. friend is sick and needs you / emergency)

Or you could tell them the truth. I'd rather someone blatantly tell me "I'm not feeling it / or not interested." than just play mind games.

I had that happen once and then a few weeks later the same guy asked me on multiple occasions to go out with him and each time I was a no show even though I said I would show (5 minutes) before the date was supposed to happen in some cases. I just couldn't get over what he had done to me previously.

LOL I did this twice but in my younger days

* I met this guy for dinner and movies which he all paid for lol, i wasn't feeling him from the start as he was more chubby/ugly in person but I had nothing better to do that day. after dinner was finished we to the movies (i believe we saw the final twilight movie, (a while ago i know) anyways he was all over me at the movies, trying to feel me up and kiss me and I simply wasn't having it, so when before the credits role and everyone scrumbles to leave, i got out the seat and ran to the exit so fast and just left home lol

2nd time was another guy who was just not my type in person and he was rude, he would fight with me and feel like he's better bc i wasn't out like he was. So all the time he was berating me so I just ran once again (i was in track team so i run fast and bolted to the nearest train station but his a** started to run after me, people were staring lol but I got in the train and thankfully the doors closed before he got in and I saw him giving me the finger as the train rolled past him lol
