most likely, or atleast a combination of the both. i mean alot of countries just dont keep track of sales to customers, but columbia/xl will of course know how much they ship to retailers

And, just like Candle In The Wind 1997, Adele is selling 25 at non-music stores that don't track for Soundscan. So the 3.38 million in sales for the first week and the 1.06 million for the second week don't include every purchase of 25!
